Spirit Doll Workshop ~ Bowen Island

  • Bowen Island Canada (map)

Come connect and tend to your unique creativity. This magical and intuitive process is a deeply healing experience that allows your imagination to run wild as you tap into your creative power to bring your Spirit Doll to life.

The day will begin with creating sacred space and a guided journey to help you connect with the spirit and medicine of your doll. You will then have ample time to create your own Spirit Doll using all necessary materials, which will be provided. The process of creating a Spirit Doll is a meditative and transformative experience that allows you to tap into your intuition and creativity, while also setting intentions for healing and growth.

After creating your own Spirit Doll, you will have the opportunity to share in circle with others. This sharing is a powerful way to connect with others, while also deepening your own understanding of your Spirit Doll's meaning and purpose.

Spirit Dolls can be used in a variety of ways, including in meditation, as part of an altar, or even given as a gift. The dolls serve as a physical manifestation of one's intentions and can be a powerful reminder of the inner strength and creativity that lies within. All that is needed to participate in this magical and transformative experience is an open heart and mind and the intention to playfully explore one's creative power.

"The doll is symbolic homunculi, little life. It is the symbol of what lies buried in humans that is numinous. It is a small and glowing facsimile of the original Self. Superficially, it is just a doll. But inversely, it represents a little piece of soul that carries all the knowledge of the larger Soul-Self. In the doll is the voice, in diminutive, of old La Que Sabe, The One Who Knows. In this way the doll represents the inner spirit of us as women; the voice of inner reason, inner knowing and inner consciousness." ~ Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes
